We have developed and facilitated a range of training courses, run by members of our team and by our partners.

Interpretation training

This is run for rangers to aid them in presenting their deep knowledge of wildlife and the environment in as engaging and accessible way as possible to visitors to their parks. This aids them in communicating conservation issues to a much wider audience, including to the local communities.

Sustainability training

Run in partnership with PACE (Pan African Conservation Education) and Ggaba Teacher Training College in Kampala, Uganda, this course is run for rangers and teachers. We train them on how they can improve the schools’ infrastructure, including learning about water catchment, solar energy, solar cooking and permaculture.

Geological tourism (in development)

We are developing a one day training course for rangers, local community leaders and tour operators to help them explore the wider geological landscape as potential for tourism, close to and within protected areas.
